General English
Cleverlearns General English Program (GEP) is focused on building confidence in communication with the use of the English language. It is achieved through intensive training further enhanced by three class types namely one on one, one on four and one on eight.
The method used in the General English Program (GEP) enables the student to improve their holistic ability in English by providing a complete program. It includes classes in structure practice, conversation, reading and sentence construction. These are combined with a wide range of video, audio and computer assisted learning tools along with social and cultural activities.
From courses under the General English Program (GEP) to the customized Educational Tours and Learning Activities, students can choose from the variety that will challenge their skills for the better.
General English-Junior
Cleverlearn's General English-Junior is a specialized program good for six hours. It focuses on buildng vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, sentence construction, listening comprehension, correct pronunciation and speaking fluency. Since this course is designed for youngsters, meetings are given to parents and guardians regularly. In this manner, there is close monitoring on the students' progress.
General English-Junior can be summed with one-on-one with a local teacher, one-on-four with a local teacher and one-on-four with an English Native Speaker. Over the weekend, varied excursions are organized so students will experience an avenue of fun while learning.
General English Semi-Intensive
The Cleverlearn General English Semi-Intensive Course was initially designed for parents and guardians who accompany the children enrolled under General English-Junior. However, this also develops kids as little as they are.
This course is mainly focused on building vocabulary, conversation and speaking fluency and reading comprehension. It will be for two hours a day where there is room to accomplish other things aside from attending classes.
Intensive English
This covers the four skills of communication namely, reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as phonetics and vocabulary building. This is taught in a communicative way, with the aim of improving students' general English ability through progressive practice and use of the new language. This intensive-extensive course is a personalized program that appeal to different learning styles. Based on the immersion concept that has proven to be successful in training ESL learners, each student will study with three different teachers in one course.
Advanced English
The Cleverlearn Advanced English is created for students who already have a high level of English proficiency. This focuses on developing students skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in an academic setting. Students will be able to learn concepts and structure that helps them adjust in a university setting abroad or in multinational companies.
Advanced English is composed of four hours one-on-one with a local teacher and two hours one-on-eight with a native speaker. The four hours of one-on-one will be broken down into two classes concentrating on any of the electives offered by Cleverlearn. On the other hand, the two hours of one-on-eight class will mold the student to be conversant in the language through interaction with a huge group.
With the Advanced English, students skills will be more challenged and be pushed to a greater extent.
Exam English
The Cleverlearn Exam English is created for students who already have a high level of English proficiency. It is specifically aimed for individuals who have plans to work and study abroad. Aside from introducing concepts for career success, this course focuses on enhancing ones ability to gain satisfactory results in Test Preparatory Programs namely TOEIC, IELTS and TOEFL
Exam English is composed of four hours one-on-one with a local teacher with an option to choose among the international preparatory tests such as TOEIC, IELTS and TOEFL. The four hours of one-on-one will be broken down into two classes focusing on the specific skills needed to be studied by the students. A 2-hour class with a Native Speaker is also added to polish students conversation and pronunciation skills.
With the Exam English program, students skills will be more challenged and be pushed to a greater extent.
